Fall in love with nature and art in the Cradle of Humankind this Valentine’s Day.
On Saturday 15 February 2020 some of the finest musicians will come together in the NIROX Sculpture Park amphitheatre to present an acoustic program of songs with an array of accompanying instruments, voices and tones.
NIROX will welcome to its lawned stage:
Albert Frost (CPT) & Tubatsi Moloi: acoustic & slide guitars, voice, flute, saxophone
Mr. Cat & The Jackal (CPT): guitars, bazouki, accordion, mandolin, saw, voice, percussion
Bye Beneco: guitars, voice, percussion, synth
Manny Walters (CPT): guitar & voice
The Great Yawn: guitar, voice, keys
Martin Smith & Matthew Dickinson (CPT): guitar and voice
The captivating gardens of NIROX Sculpture Park provide an oasis in which to enjoy a day of leisurely romance.
The concert will conclude with an outdoor movie screening after sunset. Coffees, popcorn and desserts will be on hand to enhance the plein-air experience.
Cuisine courtesy of the Epicurean Emporium - a curated selection of high-end food stalls - with emphasis on healthy and naturally-sourced options.
Lovers and friends are invited to enjoy a day of music, food, nature and art.
Gates open at 10h00 on Saturday 15 February 2020.
All ages welcome.
Children under 12 enter free of charge.
Early Bird Tickets are for sale at R300 per person online.
General Admission Tickets are R350 per person online.
Tickets at the gate R400 - subject to availability.
Students and pensioners are entitled to a discount ticket of R200 available at the entrance.
Children are welcome under parent’s care to ensure no disruption for other patrons during the performance. The grounds are extensive.
