Assupol, in collaboration with the Hugh Masekela Heritage Foundation, returns to NIROX this Summer for the 10th edition of HUGHFEST - a celebration of musical diversity, steeped in South African heritage, set amongst the splendour of NIROX Sculpture Park.
Continuing Hugh’s legacy of developing talent and pursuing excellence, the line-up will come together in residence for 3 days preceding the concert at the recently inaugurated Kromdraai Co-Creativity and Impact Hub where they will develop and rehearse a unique, once in a lifetime concert programme.
The Hub is located adjacent to NIROX, with panoramic views across the valley, dedicated to inspiring all forms of multi-disciplinary collaborative creativity to positively influence the universe.
Programme details to be announced soon.
The ever-evolving Epicurean Emporium and Bernie’s Bar will ensure all guests are accommodated, with a variety of cuisines and refreshments.
The popular NIROX restaurant ‘And then there was Fire…’ will be open to concert-goers for pre-booked lunch. Booking is essential. (www.andthentherewasfire.com).
