Roll out your yoga mat on the lawns of NIROX Sculpture Park in celebration of International Slow Art Day.
Steven from Yoga Works will guide participants through a slow and mindful yoga flow which is suitable for all levels. In the session we will explore the joy of moving your body with intention and patience. Instead of rushing to the next activity or back to the busy city, everyone is invited to spend some more time in the beautiful gardens surrounded by these inspiring art works. The yoga session will be complemented by live sonic landscapes courtesy of lap-steel slide guitar extraordinaire Richard Bruyns.
Delicious and healthy cuisine will be on offer from NITA's Kitchen – the weekend pop-up restaurant at NIROX. Folk starlet Shotgun Tori will be serenading the Pavilion in the early afternoon.
Tickets R160 online or at the entrance.
Children 12 and under enter free of charge.
Students & pensioners R100 at the entrance on the day.
No food, drinks, pets, gazebos or sporting equipment may be brought into the park.
NIROX is an outdoor venue and as such is subject to the weather. While ever care will be taken to ensure an enjoyable experience for guests, in the event of inclement weather a decision will be taken on how to proceed. No refunds.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times. Entry to the park is at your own risk. NIROX is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage.
